‘I’ll eat you up’ – See how Emiliano Martinez bamboozled Mina to save his penalty [VIDEO]

Karma appears to have hit Colombia defender, Yerry Mina like a brick.

After dancing during their shootout win over Uruguay in the Copa America quarter-final, Mina saw his penalty saved on Wednesday morning in the loss to Argentina.

Following that miss, a defeated-looking Mina was subjected to some trolling by Argentina captain Lionel Messi as he trudged back to his teammates.

However, Mina might have lost the battle even before he took the penalty.

It appears Argentina’s hero in the shootout, Emiliano Martinez gave Colombia’s players a trash-talking that would have curled the stiffest of ears.

The trash-talking intensified when Mina stepped up with Martinez constantly shouting at Mina, telling him, among other things, that he would “eat him up.”

“You’re nervous, huh? I can tell you’re nervous. I know where you’re going to shoot. Watch and see how I’m gonna eat you up. Look, I know you, eh, I’ll eat you. Remember, I’m gonna eat you up,” Martinez is quoted as having said to Mina.

This obviously worked as Martinez dived to his left to make the save.

Martinez made two other saves as Argentina booked a place in the final against Brazil on Sunday.

Take a look at the incident below:

Emiliano Martinez to Yerry Mina before the Penalty:

🗣️ "I know where you’re going to shoot.”
