Tokyo 2020: Know the dates and times Ghanaian athletes will be competing

The schedule for Ghanaian athletes at the Tokyo Olympics  has been released.

Team Ghana, with 14 athletes will be hoping to win a first medal at the games since 1992 in Barcelona.

The various athletes will compete in five sporting disciplines, namely: athletics, swimming, judo, boxing and weightlifting.

Here is the line up for Team Ghana in Tokyo.

Kwadjo Anani – Judo (90KG) – Wednesday, July 28 (3 am)

Christian Amoah – Weightlifting (96 KG) – Saturday, July 31 (2:50 am)

Unilez Takyi – Swimming (50 m Freestyle) – Friday, July 30 (10: 17 am)

Abeiku Jackson – Swimming (100 m Butterfly) – Thursday, July 29 (10:45 am)

Nadia Eke – Women’s Triple Jump – Friday, July 30 (10:05 am)

Benjamin Azamati – Athletics (100 m) – Saturday, July 31 (10:45 am)

Joseph Paul Amoah – Athletics (200 m) – Tuesday, August 3 (2:05 am)

Suleman Tetteh – Boxing (Flyweight,48 -52Kg) – Monday, 26th July (3:18 am)

Samuel Takyi – Boxing (Featherweight,52-57Kg) – Wednesday, 28th July (4:06 am)

Shakul Samed – Boxing (Light Heavyweight,75-81Kg) – Wednesday, 28th July (11: 12 am)

Men’s 4×100 team – Thursday, August 5 (2:30 am)
