[VIDEO] Hearts of Oak star Salifu Ibrahim arrives home in Abofour to rapturous welcome

Hearts of Oak midfielder sensation, Salifu Ibrahim, arrived in his hometown, Abofour, in the Ashanti Region, to a King’s welcome.

The left footed genius was instrumental in the Phobians surge to the 2020/2021 GHPL title, picking up the Ghana Football Awards player of the year in the process.

Salifu in a post on his official Twitter handle, thanked his hometown folk for their support, with a video showing his grand welcome.

He was paraded in a make shift convoy amidst loud cheers from fans who gathered in the streets.

Salifu will be hoping to continue his incredible form, when Hearts face Elmina Sharks in the quarter finals of the MTN FA Cup, looking to go all the way in clinching a double this season.
