Accra Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of Great Olympics midfielder, Gladson Awako.

The club has also announced the signings of Samartex midfielder Benjamin York, Medeama attacker Agyenim Boateng, former WAFA youngster Suraj Seidu and Salim Adams from New Edubiase.

The 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winner signed a two-year contract with an option for a 3rd year.

Awako, 30, was instrumental for cross-town rivals Accra Great Olympics, in the 2020/2022 Ghana Premier League season, contributing a combined 23 goals and assists in all competitions as the club romped to a 6th place finish.

He is expected to bolster Samuel Boadu’s squad in their CAF Champions League campaign this season.
