2022 WCQ: Jojo Wollacott, Abdul Issahaku handed debuts in Ghana’s XI to face Zimbabwe

Jojo Wollacott and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku have been handed their first Black Stars starts as Milovan Rajevac names a strong starting lineup to face Zimbabwe at the Cape Coast Stadium in a 2022 World Cup qualifier.

The starting XI also sees the return of Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey and Ajax protégé, Mohammed Kudus with captain Andre Ayew slotting into the midfield to support the duo.

Jonathan Mensah will pair Alexander Djiku at the heart of defence.

Kamaldeen, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku will provide width and Jordan Ayew keeps his place in attack in Milovan Rajevac’s first game in his second tenure as head coach of the Black Stars.

Kick off for the game is 4pm local time.
