Ghana’s senior women’s national team, the Black Queens, have left the country for Nigeria, ahead of their AWCON qualifier against the African champions.
Ghana will face rivals Nigeria in a crunch qualifier, with only the winner set to progress to the next stage of qualifying per the new format.
Head Coach Mercy Tagoe and her 22 woman squad left Accra on Monday ahead of the first leg in Nigeria on Wednesday, October 20.
Ghana will face Nigeria inn the first leg on October 20, before returning to Accra for the second leg on October 24.
