Midfielder Abdul Latif Anabila has signed a season’s deal with Ghana Premier League side Bechem United.
The 24-year-old – after a difficult debut season with Asante Kotoko – mooted a contract termination and had his wish granted when the club decided to add him to their release list last month
Inconsistent performances saw the central midfielder – who arrived with so much promise from AshantiGold – limited to just 18 league appearances.
Now he gets an opportunity to redeem his image with the Hunters, joining his Kotoko teammate Augustine Okrah who was singed weeks ago.
Anabila is seen as an able replacement for captain Moro Salifu who was transferred to Egyptian topflight side Al Ittihad Alexandria.
Bechem United will kick-start their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League campaign against Medeama SC at their favourite Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday, October 30.
