Western North Regional Minister, Richard Joojo Obeng is urging residents of Western North Region to support the Bibiani Gold Star FC as it thrieve to make it to the Ghana Premier league. The Regional Minister says with support and love the team will go places.
Speaking after the team presented the trophy they won at the 2021 Division One League Zone 2 to him in his office in Sefwi Wiaso, Mr. Obeng says ” Having emerged winner of the 2021 Division One League (Zone 2), The club needs the support of everyone- supporters, businessmen and all indigenes of the Western North Region to excel in their Premiership Campaign”
On infrastructure and getting the team ready for the premier league Mr. Obeng says ” I pledge my support to fully fund the furnishings at one of the stands to encourage patronage at their games”.
The Regional Minister concluded his meeting with the team with a cash donation to help them continue with the preparation of their pitch and promised to work with the National Youth Authority to fix one of its FIFA Standard Mini Stadia in the Western North Region.
Richard Obeng also promised to lobby for one of the government sponsored astro turfs to be constructed in the Region.
