Kumasi Asante Kotoko came from behind late in the game to secure a 3-1 over Dreams FC in a four-goal thriller at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

After a barren first half, youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, on loan from Division One side Steadfast FC, opened the scoring with a sublime solo goal just after the hour mark. But Kotoko showed character to fight back with goals from
Salifu Mudasiru, Isaac Oppong and Richmond Lamptey securing the all important three points.

After over an hour of football, both sides struggled to break the deadlock, however, U-20 AFCON best player took the fate of the game into his hands, scoring a sumptuous goal for Dreams FC.

He tossed and turned, beating an army of red shirts before lifting the ball over Black Stars goalkeeper, Razak Abalora to hand Dreams FC the lead on the 63rd minute.

A resilient Asante Kotoko would not settle for a defeat as Salifu Mudasiru scored the equaliser with 5 minutes left on the clock.

Prosper Narteh Ogum and his charges then turned the game on its head with Isaac Oppong and Richmond Lamptey scoring two quick goals very late in the game to seal the win.

Kotoko will play hosts to Bechem United next at Kumasi while Dreams FC will travel to Cape Coast to face Elmina Sharks.
