Karela United striker Abdul Aziz Dogo is pleased after hitting the back of the net on his maiden Ghana Premier League game.

Dogo restored parity for Karela United with a perfect finish as the game with Aduana ended 1-1 at the Anyinase CAM Park on Sunday.

The 6 feet 4 inches striker who was signed from Phar Rangers just a month ago was happy with his goal though he admits the target was to win.

“I was so excited for scoring on my league debut for Karela United.” Dogo told sportsworldghana.com

“We did not get what we wanted but we give thanks to Allah. We will go to the drawing board and correct our mistakes ahead of the next game.”

Dogo, 21, was also adjudged as the official GFA NASCO man of the match.
