Medeama have parted ways with its technical director Seth Ablade, the club announced on Monday.

Ablade joined the Mauve and Yellows on a three-year deal back in February 2021.

But after the seven months two parties have parted ways following a discussion on the direction of the club.

The 37-year-old took over the reigns from Augustine Evans Adotey who left the club in 2017.

Ablade enjoyed an extensive playing career in Europe featuring for clubs in Finland, Poland, Austria and Albania.

Ablade, who was a member of the Ghana U17 team that finished 3rd in New Zealand 1999, arrived in Finland in 2004 and featured for clubs including KuPS and AC Oulu.

The club has also ended their association with assistant coach Charles Anokye Frimpong after just TWO Months.

The club announced on Monday that it has reached a mutual termination agreement with Anokye, just two months into his three-year deal.

The sign and building of the Court of Arbitration (CAS) is seen ahead of the verdict in South African double Olympic champion Caster Semenya's appeal against International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) testosterone rules on May 1, 2019 in Lausanne. The world's sports court will give the verdict on Semenya's challenge against rules regulating testosterone in female athletes, a verdict expected to have a profound impact on the future of women's sport. Semenya is fighting against regulations imposed by the IAAF that compel "hyperandrogenic" athletes - those with "differences of sexual development" (DSD) - to lower their testosterone levels if they wish to compete as women.
