Super Volleyball Championship: 8 teams advance to semi-finals [PHOTOS]

Day 1 of the maiden edition of the Super Volleyball Championship saw some wonderful performances by the twelve competing teams in the men and women’s categories.

Teams of six in the men and women’s category battled for a place in the semi-finals to be held on December 19, 2021, at the Ga Mashie Hall at the Trust Sports Emporium.

At the end of Day 1, Ghana Airforce, Ghana Prisons, Ghana Army and Ghana Police made it to the semi-finals in the men’s event while Ghana Airforce, El-Wak Wings, Ghana Army and Ghana Police made it in the women’s division.

The tournament has so far been highly competitive and well patronized as players showcased their talents and skill hoping to make the cut for Team Ghana ahead of the 2023 Africa Games.

Below is the pairing for the semi-finals of the competition:

Ghana Airforce vs Ghana Prisons

Ghana Police vs Ghana Army

Women

El-Wak wings vs Ghana Police

Ghana Army vs Ghana Airforce
