2022 U-20 Women’s WCQ: Black Princesses depart Accra for Uganda

The Black Princesses of Ghana have left for Uganda ahead of their U-20 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Uganda.

 

Ben Forkou’s ladies departed the country on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, via Kenya Airlines to Kampala.

 

Ghana booked a slot to this stage of the qualifiers after securing a 1-0 win over Zambia in Cape Coast after a goalless draw in Zambia.

The travelling team consists of 22 players plus coaching staff for the crucial first-leg qualifying game against Uganda.

The squad list sees Berry Ladies lethal forward, Sophia Maabena Agyaakwa and Amina Ahamadu of FC Savannah making their first appearance for the Black Princesses.

 

Hasaacas Ladies’ quintet, Grace Banwaa, Evelyn Badu, Doris Boaduwaa, Azumah Bugre and Rahama Jafaru has been included in the team.
