Betway AFCON Diaries: Nigeria v Sudan Preview

Against all odds, Nigeria got off to a brilliant start with a win over Egypt in the AFCON and will hope to book a place in the Round of 16 with a victory over Sudan.

Sudan however, will hope to upset the Super Eagles on Saturday after holding Guinea-Bissau to a goalless draw.

At the Roumde Adjia Stadium, both teams will have it all to do to have a chance of battling it out at the business end of the showcase.

Nigeria to clinch consecutive win

After recording a shocking victory over Egypt, Nigeria’s confidence is at a high and will be expected to carry this on to another victory against Sudan.

The Super Eagles have the likes of Wilfred Ndidi and Chukweze who have real quality to cause trouble for the opposition.

For Sudan, Abdelrahman is the man to watch. However, it is expected that he will struggle for most parts of the game.

The odds

Nigeria are heavy favorites for the win according to Betway with their odds priced at 1.20 whilst that of Sudan is pinned at 19.00. A draw has been priced at 5.40.
