Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan, has joined 3rd tier US side, Maryland Bobcats in a move that was announced on Wednesday by the club.

Annan signed a one-year deal subject to league and UUSF approval and his addition was made public together with two others: Alejandro Arbelaez and Drew Wivell.

Annan left Kotoko in September 2021 after a 10-year stay with the Porcupine Warriors where he won three Ghana Premier League titles and one FA Cup.

However, in 2018, he fell down the pecking order of goalkeepers at the club and he eventually decided to end his time there.

He was part of the Black Stars team that went to the 2019 AFCON tournament in Egypt.

“Delighted to have Annan”

Following the announcement, several people on Twitter congratulated the Maryland Bobcats on Annan’s acquisition and the club responded that it was happy to have a player like Annan on its roster.

We're excited to have him! We'll do our best! 🙏🏾
