Just like in his prime, Sulley Ali Muntari delivered one of his best performances yet for Hearts of Oak in the Phobian’s 2-1 win over arch-rivals Kotoko on Friday night to win the 2022 President’s Cup.

In his fifth consecutive game for the Phobians, Muntari exhibited his class once again at the age of 37 as Samuel Boadu’s men surged to victory.

Impressive with his touches and distributions, Muntari delivered what could have been a man of the match performance for the Phobians as he won his first trophy for his new club.

Not only were his passes impressive but so were his striking abilities as he was denied twice by Ibrahim Danlad who saved the Porcupine Warriors from going down easily in the game.

Muntari on Friday night against Kotoko had 38 touches, four shots and an impressive three interceptions as Hearts of Oak marched on to victory.
