Charlotte FC and Black Stars fullback, Harrison Afful says for Ghana to stand a chance of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup, they would need to score the first goal when they come up against Nigeria in Abuja.
The Black Stars of Ghana need to avoid a defeat when they come up against the Super Eagles at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium after a stalemate four days ago in Kumasi.
“Mistakes will come, and I believe that will make us get the first goal, and we will ride on that. We just have to get the first goal and that will give us more confidence as the game progresses,” Afful said on Citi TV’s The Point of View show.
