The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has offered his best wishes to the Black Stars as they prepare to take on Nigeria tonight.
The Stars face the Super Eagles in the first leg of their 2022 World Cup playoff tie at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
In a social media post ahead of the game. Dr Bawumia urged the team to make the country proud and assured them that all Ghanaians are behind them.
“I wish the Black Stars the best of luck tonight, as they host the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying play-off first leg in Kumasi,” he said.
“The nation is behind you, so remain determined and make us proud. Go, Black Stars Go!”
