2022 WCQ: Black Stars depart for Abuja straight from Kumasi

The Black Stars of Ghana left Kumasi for Abuja on Monday morning ahead of the crunch second leg meeting with Nigeria in the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-offs.

The team had stayed behind in Kumasi to continue preparations for the second leg, after playing out a goalless draw against the Super Eagles on Friday night.

Upon arrival in Nigeria later today, Ghana will then train at 5pm at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, 24 hours before Tuesday’s crunch meeting.

The winner over two legs will book one of Africa’s five places at this year’s FIFA World Cup to be hosted in Qatar.

Kick off is 5pm.
