Police and sniffer dogs have been sent to the home of Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire, after he received a threatening email suggesting a bomb would be placed in his house.
Maguire, who lives with his fiancee and two daughters, has been blamed for Manchester United’s defensive woes and has been used as a symbol of the club’s malaise by fans.
The former Leicester defender received a threatening email which led to the police conducting a search of his home.
The player and his family are understandably shaken by the issue. Maguire and his family have temporarily evacuated his home.
