‘Senegal will reach the World Cup semi finals’ – Khalilou Fadiga

Former Senegal midfielder, Khalilou Fadiga, has backed his nation to be the first African country to reach the World Cup semis.

The midfielder was speaking ahead of the launch of Asamoah Gyan’s autobiography.

The book entitled, Le-Gyan-dary, has aroused interest from all over Africa. Former players from all over the continent will be in attendance as Africa’s top scorer at the FIFA World Cup gives us an insight into his life.

Speaking on his arrival in Ghana, Fadiga was bullish about his nation’s chances, telling the media:

“I think we will be the first African country to reach the semi-final and maybe even the final”

Le-Gyan-dary, will be launched on 30th April.

Senegal have been drawn in Group A of the World Cup alongside Ecuador, the Netherlands, and hosts, Qatar.
