Professional golfer, Danny List, held a one-day golf clinic for youngsters below fifteen at the Achimota Golf Club on April 30, 2022.
The event saw children being taken through the basics in becoming world class golf talents.
This clinic forms part of plans to launch the Danny List Foundation.
Danny List Foundation, is non-profit charity, primarily focused on giving young men, women and children in Ghana the resources and opportunities to excel in athletics as well as help them access much needed education and healthcare.
Speaking in an interview with Citi Sports, the Ghanaian golfer revealed that the Danny List Foundation will be launched in two months.
“Today’s clinic is part of the many things we will be doing ahead of the main launcg which will be in two months. I want to just give back to my people and also spread the sport in the country,” List stated.
Currently playing his 3rd season on the PGA tours, Danny List grew up in Ghana and had a stellar start to his young career.
Although he started as a football player, at age 12 his passion for golf dominated his time. He then received multiple scholarship offers to play college golf in the US, ultimately choosing to attend the University of Washington. After turning professional at the age of 19. He carries Ghana’s golfing hopes on his shoulders and is flying high the flag of the Black Star of Africa.
