Black Stars forward, Felix Afena-Gyan was on target as AS Roma claimed a 2-0 win over Sunderland in their first preseason game.
The 19-year-old was introduced in the second half with the game seemingly heading for a draw and broke the deadlock for José Mourinho’s side at the Estádio Municipal de Albufeira in Portugal.
In the sequence leading to the goal, Afena-Gyan timed his run to perfection, before sublimely smashing the ball first-time beyond the reach of Patterson.

The teenager also assisted Zaniolo for the second goal of the game as Roma walked away as victors.
The Ghanaian forward is expected to have a big season under Roma after he penned a new professional contract with the UEFA Conference League champions which will keep him at the club for the next four years.
