Ghanaian athlete, Deborah Acquah has missed out on a place in the women’s long jump finals at the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Oregon, USA.

The Ghanaian long jumper made a distance of 6.46m which is below the 6.75m automatic qualifying mark.
Acquah started off with two fault jumps before finally making a good jump but that was still not enough to get her through to the finals.

Acquah is Ghana’s national record holder in the women’s long jump with a jump of 6.89m.
