See Dele Alli’s shocking miss from three yards for Everton [VIDEO]

Former Tottenham attacker, Dele Alli is hoping for a new start at Everton this season after a turbulent last few seasons.

However, Alli might still have some way to go before he’s back to his best, as last night’s preseason match against Minnesota United showed.

While the Toffees’ 4-0 loss was astonishing, Alli perhaps produced the most shocking moment of the match.

3-0 down with 73 minutes played, Alli was handed a perfect opportunity to kickstart a comeback or at the very least grab a consolation for Everton when the ball was laid to him in the box.

The player, however, miskicked and sent the ball flying wide off target despite being all of three yards in front of an open net.

The miss left his manager, teammates and the player himself bemused as the Premier League side went on to concede one more goal before the final whistle.
