Right Winger David Atanga is one of the lead goal scorers in the 2022-2023 Jupiler Pro Football League in Belgium four games into the campaign.

Atanga has scored three goals in the league including the rasping shot attempt he converted in the last round of league games as KV Oostende lost 1-3 to Gent.

The former Red Bull Salzburg Forward got the game’s opening goal in the 13th minute but Oostende shipped in two goals to close out the first half.

Atanga and four other players have scored three goals thus far this season while fellow Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil has two goals to his credit. Atanga has an assist while starting all four games this season.

Paintsil has started the season on a strong note with Genk but was unable to get on the score sheet this past weekend as Genk bagged a 4-1 win over Zulte Waregem; he lasted the entire duration of the game.
