“More work to do”- Baba Rahman on Black Stars’ preps for World Cup

Black Stars left full back, Baba Rahman, has commented on the team’s performance after the team completed friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Black Stars lost 0-3 to Brazil in the first match and beat Nicaragua 1-0 in the second friendly. The team has one more friendly match against Switzerland before the Mundial commences on November 20.

Reacting to the results from the friendly encounters, the Reading defender put out a tweet that read:

“Good exercise with the national team. More work to do but we will get there. Thanks for all the support and love. God bless our homeland and make us great and strong.”

The 28-year-old is set to feature in Reading’s next game in the English Championship on Saturday, October 1 against Huddersfield. Reading ranks third in the 24 team league standings while Huddersfield ranks next to bottom.
