MultiChoice Ghana Limited, operators of DSTV, in partnership with sports betting giants, BetKing Ghana has launched SuperPicks in Ghana to allow local sports fans to win GHC100,000 every week.
The initiative offers the platform to predict the correct score of six football matches and answer the tiebreaker question in any given round.
The prediction is for free and offers the chance to win real money.
Speaking to the media, Managing Director for MultiChoice, Mr. Alex Okyere said: “We want to reward and get our fans who have watched our games on SuperSports more into what we do. We not being a traditional betting or gaming platform, we partnered with BetKing to do that for us. Essentially, it’s free and we want to reward our viewers. You don’t even need to be a DSTV customer. There is a reward for everybody.”
Aside the correct score prediction, there is also the option of a Fantasy League that rewards winners of the leaderboard weekly.
As in most Fantasy leagues, participants get to choose a match, create a team, and pick their captain and vice-captain.
Fans can choose to play any of the two games Predictor or Fantasy Predictor.
Managing Director of BetKing Ghana, Ryan Moore noted: “Players that are brilliant, know their teams and know their sports very well can expect some entertainment, and being able to play SuperPicks for free. And the chance to win a GHC100,000 every weekend.”
Punters will have to log on www.superpicks.com or download the Android application to join the action.
MultiChoice and BetKing have indicated that consolation prizes will be allotted to fans who narrowly miss out on the correct score predictor, on a weekend where there are no winners of the GHC100,000.
Fans can also share their referral link with friends, family and on social media channels to win cash if the referrals hit the jackpot of GHC100,000.
