Ghanaian Highlife musician, Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah, popularly known as Akwaboah has released a special theme song for Ghana’s participation at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Afrosound sensation has titled the song “Bring back the love”, a phrase that is synonymous with the Ghana Football Association’s passion-igniting campaign for the senior and other national teams.
Akwaboah aims to revive the passion around the Black Stars and galvanize support for Otto Addo’s team with two months to the tournament.
The song infuses a sample from Osibisa’s Woyaya (We are going) song in 1971.
