Former AshantiGold striker, Yaw Annor, has been officially added to Togo’s men’s national football squad to play against Equatorial Guinea in a friendly game on Tuesday, September 27.

Annor recently made the headlines after committing his international football career to Togo and not Ghana especially after winning the Top Goalscorer award in the 2021-2022 Ghana Premier League season.

The friendly game kicks off at 14:00 GMT at the Stade Laarbi Zaouli in Casablanca, Morocco and Annor is part of the 25 players in camp.

Togo has pitched camp at the Novotel Mohammedia in Morocco and Citi Sports can report the team trained on Monday at 11:00 GMT.

Annor moved to Egyptian side Ismaily prior to the start of the 2022-2023 season after beating Kumasi Asante Kotoko Cameroonian forward Franck Mbella Etouga to the Ghana Premier League’s Goal king award.
