CAFCC: No ‘Free Gate’ as Hearts of Oak reveal ticket prices for Bamako clash

Bamako (Black and White) v Hearts

Contrary to rumours, Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club’s CAF Confederations Cup second leg match against Malian side, Real Bamako, won’t be free for fans as the club has officially released its ticket prices for the big game.

In need of a huge crowd turnout with morale currently low, some quarters suggested the Phobia club allow fans to enter the Accra Sports Stadium to watch the game for free.

However, Hearts of Oak released the list earlier today via its Twitter page as the team heads into the contest on Sunday, October 16 at 15:00 GMT down 0-3 from the first leg.

The club’s release of ticket prices firmly kills the rumours as Hearts chase a miraculous turnaround to stand a chance of progressing to the next round of the competition.

The cheapest ticket for this weekend’s game goes for 10 Ghana Cedis ($0.95) while the most expensive ticket has a 70 Ghana Cedis ($6.64) price tag.

Hearts face a herculean task as they aim to recapture the magical run in 2004 that saw the Phobia club beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko to clinch the Confederations Cup.
