Ghanaian winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, is in an upbeat mood after making his second ever appearance in the UEFA Champions League.

The former Real Tamale United player made his debut in the competition against Olympique Marseille after coming on as a substitute in the 22nd minute after teammate Ricard Esgaio was red carded.

The prodigious talent came on as a substitute in the 71st minute for Sporting Lisbon in the Portuguese club’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspurs on Match Day 5 of club football’s elite competition.

Fatawu replaced highly rated English winger Marcus Edwards and made his presence felt by drawing a save from Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris. (Click highlighted text to watch save)

The save was ranked among the best from games played on Wednesday, October 26 Match Day 5 games in the Champions League.

Reacting after having a second run out in the Champions League, Issahaku took to Twitter to share his thoughts.

“Alhamdulilai there is still one more game let’s go team VAMOS”.
