The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) National Team Day event dubbed the ‘Walk with the Legends’ has been held to garner support for the Black Stars.

The event was held on Saturday, with Ghana’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, GFA President, Kurt Okraku and GFA Vice President Mark Addo and PFAG Secretary General, Anthony Baffoe headlining the event.

Today’s program forms part of activities by the GFA to raise awareness about the Black Stars’ participation in the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

A handful of players from Ghana’s past World Cup campaigns, including John Paintsil, Derek Boateng, Samuel Osei Kuffour and George Owu participated in the walk that began at Ayi Mensah and ended at the Aburi Hill Top.
