Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Franck Mbella Etouga has been confirmed as the best player in the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League.

The 21-year-old earlier this season left the Porcupine Warriors for Al Masry in Egypt.

Mbella scored 21 goals and made 4 assists for Kotoko in his first and only season in Ghanaian football.

But, the Cameroonian missed out on the top scorer accolade to Yaw Annor, the ex-Ashantigold goal poacher.

Annor who has switched nationality from Ghana to Togo will also be awarded for emerging as the goal king for the 2021/2022 season with his 22 goals in 30 appearances.

Title-winning coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has been adjudged as the best Head Coach for leading Kumasi Asante Kotoko to their 24th league trophy.

The Ghana Football Association in partnership with Electroland Ghana Limited will organize an awards presentation ceremony for the three excelling personalities.
