The National Chapters Committee Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Elvis Herman Hesse has been invited by the Ghana Police Service for questioning.

This comes on the back of a complaint by a Board Member of the club, Vincent Sowah Odotei.

Citi Sports has been engaging the Greater Accra Regional Chapters Committee Chairman of the club, Jean Jacques Effangon popularly known as Chairman Shamoo who denied earlier reports that Mr. Herman had been arrested.

“He was not arrested. He was invited by the Police and he went.

He has written his statement. Yesterday there was a little bit of an argument between one of the NCC Executive with the Board Member, Odotei. When they were exchanging words, Elvis came to separate it. The media took it as a different story as if Elvis was having a scuffle with him. Nothing like that happened. I don’t know what Odotei went to report, but from what I know, it is about what happened at the VVIP yesterday.”

Accra Hearts of Oak campaign in the 2022/2023 CAF Confederation Cup ended with a 3-1 aggregate defeat to Real Bamako of Mali.

The defeat led to fans deflating the car tyre of Board member Sowah Odotei.
