Ghanaian duo of Denis Odoi and Kamal Sowah have contrasting fates in the lead up to Club Brugge’s UEFA Champions League group stage clash against FC Porto later tonight.

Odoi has been included in the 22 man list of players primed to get selected to feature in the Game 5 tie against the Portuguese side at 16:45 GMT.

However, forward Kamal Sowah isn’t included in the squad list as the 22 year old serves a one game suspension for getting sent off in the previous round’s tie against Atletico Madrid.

Sowah received a second yellow card in the 82nd minute in the goalless draw against Atletico for kicking the ball away after the referee had whistled for an infringement.

The former AZ Alkmaar player is in line to compete in Brugge’s final group stage matchup against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday, November 1.

Sowah has  scored two goals in four Champions League games this season with the Belgian side booking its place in the Round of 16 stage for the first time ever.

Defender Denis Odoi has anchored a back line that is yet to concede a goal in four games ahead of tonight’s game.
