Ghanaian Center, Amida Brimah picked up an injury in his second appearance with new side JL Bourg-en-Bresse in the French Pro A Basketball League.
Brimah picked up the yet-to-be-revealed injury (at the time of writing) in JL Bourg’s 90-87 win over Le Mans, after playing just three minutes of the contest.
The well-traveled pro basketball player registered two points and two rebounds in his brief time in the contest before his injury-enforced exit.
Former Indiana Pacers defender, Brimah, recently signed for the French side and made his debut in Bourg’s 95-75 win over Ada Blois in the French Cup.
Brimah played 18:05 minutes as a starter and proceeded to score eight points and grab three rebounds in his first appearance for Bourg.
Amida is the second Ghana-born player to play in the NBA and has also featured for teams in Puerto Rico, Belgium and the NBA Gatorade League (G-League).
He won the Belgian League title with Filou Oostende and was a member of Austin Spurs’ winning team in the NBA G-League.
He won the US Men’s National College Basketball title in 2014 with the University of Connecticut.
