Three Ghana-based footballers have been named in Otto Addo’s provisional list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

After a lot of backlash from the Ghanaian populace, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) officially released the 55-man provisional list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Accra Hearts of Oak duo, Dennis Korsah and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, and Asante Kotoko’s Ibrahim Danlad are the only locally-based footballers in the squad.

Former Kotoko fullback, Ibrahim Imoro has also been listed in the provisional squad.

Notable inclusions to the squad are Iñaki Williams, Kamal Sowah, Tariq Lamptey and Salis Abdul Samed.

Ghana is in Group H of the competition and will play Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
