Former Kotoko boss, Prosper Narteh-Ogum, ex-Hearts coach, Samuel Boadu and Black Meteors head coach, Ibrahim Tanko have arrived in Abu Dhabi to join the Black Stars camp.

The three Ghana-based coaches arrived without Ignatius Osei Fosu who is expected to join the team before Ghana’s first World Cup game.

Their inclusion moves Otto Addo’s backroom staff to 21 individuals at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Earlier this month, the Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif in his address in parliament stated that Ibrahim Tanko, Prosper Ogum, Samuel Boadu and Ignatius Osei Fosu had been added to “provide additional support” to Otto Addo and the coaching staff for the World Cup.

According to him, their addition to the team is a “platform to gain experience, confidence and exposure”.

The Black Stars of Ghana are in Group H for the World Cup and will come up against Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
