Ghana Center Amida Brimah scored 12 points to help JL Bourg record its ninth win of the 2022-2023 French Pro A Basketball League season.

Bourg beat Dijon 90-83 in the Round of 14 games played recently; the win improves Bourg’s record for the season to nine wins and five losses to move up to fifth place.

Brimah played 27 minutes as a starter and registered 12 points and three rebounds on the back of scoring five of seven two point shot attempts.

Amida converted a pair of free throws to bookend an efficient outing for the former Indiana Pacers shot blocker who had two turnovers in Bourg’s latest win.

The 28 year old 6 foot 10 inch was one of four Bourg players to score in double digits with Guard James Palmer leading the way with 16 points.

Amida joined Bourg this past offseason after spending time with Filou Oostende in the Belgian League; he helped the team win the Belgian league title for the 21st time.

Brimah is in line to feature in Bourg’s game against Roanne on Tuesday, December 27.
