He’s got an awful lot of ability-Bristol City coach on Antoine Semenyo

In the aftermath of praising him for his top display of professionalism in the face of swirling transfer talk, Bristol City head coach Nigel Pearson has gone on to talk up the abilities of Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo.

23 year old forward Semenyo scored for the fourth time in five games in Bristol’s 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers in the English Championship.

Speaking in the post game interview, Pearson highlighted Semenyo’s abilities with the recently turned 23 year old player in fine form.

“He is a good player, he’s got an awful lot of ability and I think he did himself credit today again” Pearson said of 17th ranked side in the 24 team league standings.

The goal was Semenyo’s seventh in 26 games this season; he also two assists as Premier League side AFC Bournemouth continues to chase his signature.
