Kotoku Royals kicked off the weekend on Friday with a 2-1 over Berekum Chelsea.
They returned to winning ways after enduring a nine game winless streak which included eight losses and a draw.
In Saturday’s fixtures, Accra Lions had to dig deep to produce three goals in the last 15 minutes of their game against Legon Cities with Cities getting a consolation goal in added time for a 3-1 finish.
Hearts of Oak picked up all three points after beating Tamale City 3-2 in a five goal thriller in Saturday’s only other game. The Accra giants opened the scoring through Ibrahim Salifu from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute.
Real Tamale equalized four minutes after with a spot kick dispatched by Isaac Mensah. Sampson Eduku put Real Tamale ahead five minutes to the halftime break only for the game to be tied right after the break through a Benjamin York goal. Caleb Amankwah then secured three points for Hearts of Oak with a goal in the 87th minute.
On Sunday, Bechem United shared the spoils with King Faisal. Godfred Asiamah put King Faisal ahead in the 67th minute and Hafiz Konkoni tied the game in added time for a 1-1 finish.
Dreams FC picked up all three points from their game against Medeama SC in a convincing 4-0 display that had forward Agyenim Mensah bag a brace.
Elsewhere, Karela United was held to a goalless draw at home to Real Tamale United.
Nsoatreman FC picked up maximum points with Walid Fuseini scoring a 75th minute goal to secure a 1-0 victory over Samartex FC.
Asante Kotoko came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw at home against Accra Great Olympics. Great Olympics took the lead through Abdul Bashiru in the 47th minute and Kwadwo Appau Andrew scored in injury time to tie the game for Kotoko.
League leaders Aduana Stars play Bibiani All Stars on Monday in the final game of week 11.
