FC Augsburg Sporting Director Stefan Reuter has spoken glowingly about the qualities of newly signed forward Kelvin Yeboah.
The nephew of Ghanaian legendary striker Tony Yeboah signed a six month loan deal with the German side from Italian Serie B team Genoa.
Speaking to Reuters after the loan deal was officially announced, Reuter had nothing but high praise for the 22 year old Ghanaian-Italian player.
“Kelvin Yeboah is a young, versatile and quick attacker. He will give us another option in attack. He showed how good he is from counter attacks during his time in Graz and showed a real eye for goal. He’s a great fit for our team” he said.
Yeboah played for Sturm Graz in the Austrian league in the 2021-2022 season before joining Genoa for the 2022-2023 season where he has a goal and an assist in 11 league appearances.
Yeboah is eligible to play at the senior level internationally for either Italy or Ghana despite making four appearances for Italy’s Under 21 side.
