Togo back out of friendly with Black Queens

The Togolese senior women’s national team has backed out of their friendly against the Ghana senior women’s national team the Black Queens.

Ghana was scheduled to play against the female Sparrow Hawks on the 25th of February as they prepare for the West African Football Union (WAFU) zone b women’s championship.

The Togolese, however, informed the Ghanaians of their decision to back out three days to the game.

The Black Queens made the news of the games cancellation official through a post on their official twitter page.

“Our opponents pulled out at the eleventh hour leaving no room for replacement. Further updates shall be provided on future engagements of the black queens” the tweet reads.

The Black Queens have already played one friendly against Benin on the 19th of February which they won 3-0.
