Ghanaian football legend Nii Odartey Lamptey has talked up the extent of Mohammed Kudus room to grow into an elite player.

He said this in the aftermath of Kudus winning the Men’s Foreign based Footballer of the Year and Sports Personality of the Year Awards respectively at the 47th SWAG Awards.

In an exclusive interview with CITI Sports at the 47th Sports Writers Association of Ghana event, the former PSV Eindhoven schemer stated he is happy Kudus is building up his football profile at Ajax Amsterdam.

Ajax is famed for producing football legends like Frank Rijkaard, Clarence Seedorf, Edgar Davids, Patrick Kluivert, Wesley Sneijder, Edwin Van Der Sar and Marc Overmars.

“He can still grow, he is a young chap and I am very happy where he is playing now in the Netherlands, it’s easy for him to grow and I am sure when he stays there quite a bit longer, he will be better than he is now” he said.
