Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus was on the receiving end of lavish praise from Ajax teammate Steven Berghuis who gushed over Kudus’ brilliant assist.
The Dutch international tagged Kudus as “fantastic” and “unpredictable” after Kudus’ starry performance in Ajax’s win 5-0 win over Cambuur.
Kudus showed off an insane piece of skill to get past a Cambuur defender before looping the ball to Berghuis who headed home for Ajax’s second goal in the 36th minute.
Commenting on Kudus’ performance, Beghuis stated, “Mohammed Kudus is fantastic, he is unpredictable. It’s a nice collaboration that we have on the pitch. It’s also nice for Brobbey that he came in and scored two goals.”
The goal was Berghuis’ first of the game who went on to score his second in the 64th minute; Brian Brobbey also scored a brace with Dusan Tadic grabbing the game’s opening goal in the 16th minute.
The assist is Kudus’ first of the season in the Eredivisie where he has scored seven goals in 19 league outings.
