Seventeen players have reported to the Black Stars camp ahead of Ghana’s AFCON 2023 qualifiers against Angola.
Four of Ghana’s five contingents in the English Premier League have reported to camp with Kamaldeen Sulemana expected to arrive later on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
Returnees to the team, Joseph Wollacott, Joseph Paintsil and Majeed Ashimeru have been spotted in camp.
New faces, Patrick Kpozo and Kingsley Schindler are in camp, settling in well with experienced heads like Alexander Djiku, Denis Odoi setting the pace for others to follow.
The team held its first training session on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Accra Sports Stadium and will hold other sessions in Kumasi.
Ghana will play Angola in a double-header in the qualifiers with the first-leg to be played in Kumasi on March 23, 2023 and the return leg in Luanda four days later.
