FC Samartex 1996 Business Development Manager, Paul Anyaba, has called for football stakeholders to take responsibility for the poor attendances at betPawa Ghana Premier League games and desist from playing the blame game.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports as controversy continues to rage over which party is responsible for the sharp drop in attendances at matches in Ghana’s top flight in recent seasons.

“Our-Samartex- position is that all of us have distinct roles to play in order to have a solution. The GFA will have to look at the scheduling of games.

If Liverpool is playing Manchester United at 3 PM and you also have your biggest fixture, Hearts of Oak playing Kotoko, you should know that it is going to affect us. I think the GFA must be proactive and I don’t think it is within the powers of the clubs to be doing it.”

Samartex is competing in Ghana’s top flight for the first time and drew goalless with Accra Great Olympics to rank ninth in the 18 team league standings.
