The Greater Accra Regional Representative of Aduana Stars Football Club, Isaac Koomson, has dismissed the notion that granting a free entry to fans increased the level of risk at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

He said this in an interview with Citi Sports after reports emerged of an attack on Tamale City’s bus allegedly by some fans of Aduana United.

Aduana beat Tamale City 1-0 in the betPawa Ghana Premier League latest round of games but the game was marred by the incident that was widely reported.

For Koomson, the alleged incident took place outside the vicinity of the stadium and his team should not be blamed for the incident. He went on to apologize for the incident but stated that the free entry for did not increase the risk of such an incident happening.

“No, I didn’t think so because at this time the people were going to come to the stadium. When you are winning matches and you are leading the league, definitely supporters will come. They are going to come anyway. Everything that happened never happened at the stadium. When the bus got out of the stadium, then they started throwing the stones on the blind side of the management”.
