Accra Great Olympics’ Japanese attacker, Jindo Morishita, has opened up on his lack of game time under new coach, Bismark Kobi Mensah, in the ongoing Betpawa Premier League.
The 25-year-old joined the Dade Boys from Ebusua Dwarfs in the second transfer window, but has struggled to feature this season for the two-time premier league champion.
Speaking to Citi Sports in an exclusive interview, Jindo admits it is frustrating not to play but hopes his side, who are in precarious position, stays afloat this season.
“Well, you know as a player, you always want to deliver value on the pitch and if you are not given enough time, it is always frustrating.”
As I keep saying, it is not always about myself. It is about the team first so I respect the coach. I trust him and I am always preparing myself to be ready when called upon.
